Message:
Dear Linda and all the Wiedmann family, At times like these it is always so very hard to understand the why's and the what if's, but there is always a sure comfort in knowing that our Lord and Savior knows all of these answers. We are all His. He knows best for us all and all we need to do is look to Him for our peace and comfort now and always. It just doens't seem that long ago when Ron, Dean, Jim and I were chasing golf balls in the park, working on that old car, [thinking of?]cruisin' Broadway or heading off for someplace out of the way of parents. Those trips from Lehr to Fargo were too few but will be always remembered; with a smile! I don't know when the last time was that we meet - I remember a time in some mall in Moorhead; you and Linda were looking at appliances and I was wasting time waiting for my next appointment - but it wasn't enough. My Mom has kept me updated on Dean's struggles through these last months. Please know that our prayers and thoughts have been with you and certainly are with you now. May each one of you look to Jesus today and every day for the strength and comfort that only He can bring. Jesus is the answer and we all look forward to that day when we will she each other again in glory - singing His praises forever and ever. Linda and family, may the peace that only comes from Jesus be with you and your family this day and always! Don and Marlys Johnson East Grand Forks, MN

Message:
Our sincere sympathy. It is so hard to know the right words to say, but we are thinking about all of you and knowing how hard it is to lose a father just when he is beginning to retire and enjoy life. We are thinking about you and wanted to be sure you knew we were thinking about you even though we cannot be there.

From: Larry and Uneva Dobrinz

Message:
We were so sorry to hear of Dean's struggle with cancer and his death! We remember his visiting in our home and talking about some of Linda's family that used to live across the field from our farm. He also talked about your move to Detroit Lakes and how much he enjoyed his life there. Dean was a person that we felt at ease with and appreciated. He will be missed. We sincerely extend our sympathy and prayers to his family. Larry and Uneva Dobrinz

Todd, I wanted to extend my sympathies to you and your family. I know that you and your Dad were very close, spending a lot of time together in the woods and on the water. Keep those memories close to you and pass on what you learned from him to your boys. Although I can't be there today, please know that I will be thinking of you and your family. Bob

From: Sara Lien

Message:
As a neighbor and dear friend of the Wiedmann family while living in Brentwood Acres, I new Dean as a heartfelt, warm, and sincerely passionate person. He loved and cared for his family dearly and was so generous to me, a good friend of Laura's. My most vivid memory of Dean is loving and father-like hug he gave me the day the Wiedmann family moved from Brentwood. His eyes were teary and he expressed how much he would miss Brentwood and all it had come to mean to his family. I am holding you all closely in my thoughts and prayers. May comfort and peace reside in your hearts again soon. Love always, Sara Lien
