Message: To the family of Dorothy Carey:
I wanted to express my sincere condolences to you on the death of Mrs. Carey. She was one of my teachers at Riverside Elementary and a wonderful person who I got to know better in my former business and as a Moorhead elected official. She had a positive impact on so many people, you must be very proud of her and the impact she has had on the world. God Bless.

Message: My sincere condolences to the family of Dorothy Carey - I was a student of hers at Riverside Elementary, and have never forgotten her good influence and inspiration in my life. She was a very caring and always upbeat person, besides being a terrific teacher. Not only did she care about her students during their time in her classroom (6th Grade for me), but she thought of us often afterwards - as evidenced by her attendance at my graduation years 6 years later from Oak Grove Lutheran High School. I have no doubt she was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and will be remembered fondly.
