Message: To the Brooke Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Sean was a friend of mine in Fort Riley, KS. Though we were only in Middle school Sean made a lasting impression on me with his 1000 kilowatt smile and compassionate soul. I have often wondered what he was doing, knowing of course it would be something amazing. You are in my heart and prayers.

Message: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Brooke and family,
My name is Kristl Molina, and I was a medic that worked alongside Sean at Schofield Bks, HI and overseas in Iraq. Since hearing about Sean's passing through a soldier that was in Sean's battalion, I've been wanting to tell you all about how I knew him to be, and the exceptional soldier, medic, and friend Sean was, and will always be remembered. I first met Sean at the Troop Medical Clinic on Schofield Bks. We were both on clinical rotation there, and from the very start, I sensed that he was very kind, genuine, and truly loved being a medic. We became friends and hung out from time to time, and went to the movies together. In Iraq, I was stationed with him for a period of time at FOB Gainesmill. He and then SPC Poston would stop by my aid station and visit us medics. Sean would chat with us, and share new skills he learned in providing medical care in the field. During my time at FOB Gainesmill, I truly saw the passion Sean had in caring for others as a medic and a soldier. Sean would often tell the other medics and I stories of his missions and patrols where he provided medical care to the Iraqi people, and bringing joy to an Iraqi child's day. One mission he told me about that has stuck with me is his attempts to save the life of an Iraqi girl with multiple gunshot wounds. There's no doubt, Sean had a big heart and compassion for others. One day he even brought an abandoned puppy to the aid station he found during one of his patrols. He knew we had a momma dog living there that had a litter of puppys, and he thought that maybe the one he found could be integrated into the pack. Sean was truly a special person, and I will never forget him! God bless you all and if you wish, please do not hesitate to email me at pennaquarius@msn.com. My prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,
Kristl Molina
