Dear Virginia and Families, Mom (Betty Burner) called me to tell me of Bill's passing. Tonight when I looked at his obituary and saw his photograph, I thought I was looking at my great-uncle Art. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I have fond memories of the hours I spent playing with Jackie at Heskin family reunions and at Great-Grandma Julia's birthdays. Those were simpler times when we were all much younger and had only simple cares on our minds. Now we must start saying goodbye to the second generation of Brainerds that we have known, and it makes me sad.
