Message: Aunt JoAnn, Diane, Kari and all the family;
Jeanette and I extend our deepest sympathy to you in this time of grief and loss. We wish we could be with you face-to-face in this time, but my own health issues (Walt) keep me from traveling any distance.
I have fond memories of the times that I spent with "Uncle Elmer and Aunt JoAnn" during my early years as a student at NDSU (Over 40 years ago!).
At the time, I didn't have a car, so those visits were only possible because Uncle Elmer would come over to the NDSU campus to pick me up and then later in the evening take me back to campus.
Yes, I spent many hours with my "surrogate family" in Moorhead as I coped with all of the adjustments to be made by a farm boy from rural North Dakota when he got to the city!
Sometimes I think those visits were what kept me going long enough to adjust and continue on to finish my degree work.
May the "peace of God that passes all understanding" be one of the gifts you experience as you celebrate the life and love that were part of "Uncle Elmer's" life.
In Christ's love,
Walt and Jeanette Geiszler
