Message: I met Ken Fiemann through his son Ron, during the time I attended Oak Grove High School. His attitude and great view of life was always a plus. I still remember a quote he used during that time. "God does not love you because you are important, you are important because God loves you."
Moorhead was a better place because of Ken Fiemann.
My deepest sympathies to Betty, Ron, Liz and Jim.

Message: Betty & Family,
Thank-you for letting me help with taking care of Ken. He was an amazing man. It is easy to see why everyone loved him so. His smile and sense of humor were something I looked forward to when I came to work. Once again thank-you and may you find peace knowing he is in God's hands now looking down at you all with a smile on his face.

I also had him for my fifth grade teacher. He was such a kind and funny man. He made us all feel special on a daily basis. I will certainly miss him.

Message: To the whole Fiemann family -
My deepest condolences in the loss of such a special man. He was my 5th grade teacher about 46-47 yrs ago now, and the absolute greatest! He made each day new & fun, yet took his job seriously and taught us well. Personally, he was fair, kind, respectful, & wise, and had I been given the choice to keep him another few years, I would have done it in a heartbeat. I have thought of him often & very fondly, and wondered where his life's journey took him. Reading his story is so comforting, knowing he was loved by so many. Please know that he was highly respected and appreciated also by those of us who never got the chance to tell his family that. What a jewel! Many prayers for peace and strength to you all, as the memory of his wonderful smile, and the twinkle of his eyes will forever fill your hearts. Love & sympathies to you all -
Bobbie Iverson

Message: My deepest condolensces to the Fiemann Family. I had Mr. Fiemann as my 5th Grade Teacher at Edison Elementary in 1985. He was a great teacher and I recall that great smile as if it were yesterday. I loved his funny ways and his one-liners. I remember playing with the shoelace that was to be in my hair as a headband(the madonna fashion) and he told me if I didnt put it away, he was going to stick it in my ear and it would come out my nose. :) He was the best!! Know he is in a great place and you will join him for the best game of ball yet to be played. Rest in Peace Mr. Fiemann
