10/27/'09 To The Wilson Families- my thoughts and prayers are with you all as you mourn the loss of your loved One Harold Deane Wilson. I will always remember him during my grocery store days at Dave and Earls when he and Joyce would be shopping. He always had a friendly smile and many words to share. He touched the lives of many and definitely left a wonderful imprint for all. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. He is resting in the arms of Jesus now and will be smiling down from heaven watching over all of you- what a great comfort to know that. May God Bless You all during this time- Sincerest Prayers and Sympathy, Mark J.VonBank-Park Rapids, Minnesota

Now that my uncle Deane has been relieved of his duties on Earth,I hope he'll do some scouting for me in Heaven. If hunting and fishing are not allowed, I hope he sends me sme kind of sign so I can postpone my reservations. Some of my best memories are of the times spent afield with him. Things I have been able to pass on to my children snd they know doubt wil share with theirs. His spirit will never die We miss you Uncle Deane, Steve, ReAnn and Jenna

From: Duane Wilson

Message:
What does one say when your last sibling passes on, especially when that sibling has taught you how to ski, skate, drive, ride, hunt, fish, and just generally enjoy the great outdoors? You have been a wonderful friend and brother, Deane. Through overpowering odds you fought the good fight and won time amd again. Now, at last, victory is yours in Heaven. May you rest in peace, Big Brother. God Bless! My deepest sympathy to Joyce and the family.

From: Kathy & Jerry Schmidt

Message:
No words can express the loss that you suffer. Know from your neighbors that Dean will be missed greatly. We could always feel relief when we vacationed or had to be gone for a few days that both Dean and Joyce would keep an eye out on our house that everything would be taken care of. We have missed him since the move to Moorhead but appreciated seeing him in the summers, always remembering what a decent human being Dean was. Our most sincere sympathies from Jerry and me.

Message:
I was deeply saddened to hear that Deane had passed away. Anytime I'd run into him around town we'd stop & visit. He'd ask how my folks were, and what was I up to. He always made me feel like he was happy to bump into me. Seeing him reminded me of the Wilson side of the family who were so near & dear to me growing up in Park Rapids. So many of those precious souls are now reunited in heaven.

Joyce, We are so sorry to hear of Dean's death. No more pain, no more sorrow for Dean, but how painful his passing is for you. God is holding Dean just as he holds each of us. We have missed your smiling presence and hope to see you soon.

From: Larry Warren

Park City,  Utah

Message:
Dear Joyce, Cathy, Brad and Ken, I'm so glad we were able to reconnect in Moorhead and Park Rapids a few more times. I'll always remember visiting you at the lake one night when Andrew was maybe five and causing a fuss. Dean invited him to the basement and all was quiet. When we went to get him Dean was taking stuff out of his tackle box, lure by lure and telling Andrew about the fish he caught with them. Andrew is 21 now but still remembers Mr. Wilson's tackle box. What a great guy to have known since I was a teen myself! Love to you all, Larry & Carol

Dear Joyce, Cathy, Brad and Ken, My sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with you all during this loss of your beloved husband and father. I have such fond memories of hanging out at your beautiful house on the Lake and of Deane watching us play Yatzhee! Why that sticks in my mind I am not sure. He was always so kind and welcoming. I know he will be missed dearly by all of you.
