DIRECT CREMATION |

Charge includes removal of the remains, custodial care, transfer to the crematory and basic services of the funeral director and staff. Minnesota law does not require you to purchase a casket for cremation. If you want to arrange a cremation, you can use a cremation container. A cremation container is a combustible closed container that encases the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or corrugated cardboard and into which a dead human board is placed prior to the insertion into a cremation chamber for cremation. The containers we provide are fiberboard, plywood and/or cardboard. This charge does NOT include any visitation, rites or ceremonies. This charge includes a payment to Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, for the crematory fee. |
